Topic: The Rejoicing Lost Sheep 
Key Text: 2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV -In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The parable of the lost sheep as told by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, makes us to understand that the lost sheep was missing out of ignorance or negligence. We understood the shepherd went after it and found it in its wandering state of life. The owner must have been shouting, calling on him, and hearing the voice, he ran to its owner rejoicing he is found. Luke 15:4 KJV 

But the case is different with most lost sheep today. They are lost willingly, and they rejoice in their wandering. They refuse to hear the voice of their owner even when He calls on them. They are happy in the far country of sin and iniquity; the devil got hold on them, feeding them with damnable meal of iniquity and sin. Isaiah 1:1-4 KJV 

Are you a believer who rejoices in sin and iniquity? You are a rejoicing lost sheep that would soon be devoured by the wicked wolves. You may be happy no one is controlling you. You are like a loose dog that don't have control, and the word of God has no meaning to you anymore. Your dirty mind has become your god, and your soul would soon be a plus in hellfire if you don't repent and run back to God. Romans 6:23 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on me in anyway I have been rejoicing and wandering in the far country of sin and iniquity
unknowingly. Please receive me as I return to you Lord as the prodigal son; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

Reflection: - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV
