Topic: Joyful Service Is Demanded 
Key Text: Romans 15:13 KJV - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

It is very imperative that anyone that wants to serve God and receive his or her reward of service before God on the last day, must be really ready to employ the spirit of joy. There's no way anyone can do the will of God or walk with God with unsettled mind. One cannot be a complainer or murmurer and hope to please God with his or her service of carnality. Romans 12:12 KJV 

Learn From The Israelites: God by his mercy through his own power used Moses to rescue the children of Israel from the bondage of slavery in the land of Egypt; hoping to lead them into the promise land. Sadly, they were all wasted by the Waster in the wilderness because of their ungrateful heart and lack of joy in their hearts; despite all the wonders their eyes saw in their deliverance. Deuteronomy 28: 47-48 KJV 

Sin Is An Enemy Of Joy: The joy am talking about is not the one that is being manufactured through material crafty gain. I am talking about the joy that no situation can take away from the heart of the believer. The joy gained through genuine salvation; the joy of having Jesus Christ as one all in all; the joy of being privileged to suffer humiliation or persecution for the sake of the gospel of Christ. Philippians 4:4 KJV

Prayer: May the joy that only God can give fill your heart to enable you do his will; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. 

Reflection: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 KJV
