Key Text: Mark 10:22 KJV -And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

The story in our today's Divine Inspiration Key Text is about a young man who actually knew that heaven and hell existed; and that heaven is not just a place one could just jump into as one goes into a shopping center; therefore, he inquired from Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life; the only One that knows the way into the Father's kingdom about the truth. It's just as many people today who truly wants to make heaven and escape the damnation of Hell fire; but he was sorrowful and turned his back on heaven when Jesus Christ told him the prerequisite of getting what he needed. Mark 10:22 KJV

Many People Choose To Go To Hell Willingly: Jesus Christ told the young man in out Key Text, go and sell your possession, give it to the poor, take your cross and follow me. Very simple instruction, but he chose to enjoy this world and lose his soul. He forgot that there's nothing he had that was not given to him by Jesus Christ. Humanity can easily forget things. Everything in this world that a man needs is found in Jesus Christ; hence, He told Peter that there is no one that would forsake everything and follow Him that would not gain it back on earth and eternity in Heaven. Mark 10:29-30 KJV

Be Careful How You Pursue Possession: Beloved, I strongly believe you want to make heaven; but you have a choice to make; either the love of possession or the love of Jesus Christ. Remember, one cannot serve two masters at the same time; you must give up one for the other. I would advice you to give up possession for Christ and the possession would come back to you on it's own without taking your soul from you. Matthew 6:24 KJV

Prayer: I give up the love of possession today to gain the love of God through Jesus Christ in Jesus mighty name;  amen.
