Key Text: Romans 13:11 KJV - And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Beloved, I cannot tell, how long it's been that, you got born again. Probably, you've been born again for so many years; or just two minutes ago. I want to let you know that, you've gone too far, to return back to your vomit. In accordance to the scriptures that we read above, we were made to understand that, our salvation is nearer; than when we first believed. The rules of the "Race" is, once you're in, there's no room for going back. Seriously, why would any soul, want to exchange light for darkness? The problem with many contestants is this: they are sleeping and slumbering. So many christians, have overslept, to the extent of forgetting that they are on a race. Thank God! There's still hope for the slumbering to wake up; and keep running as we've read in the Key Text Romans 13:11a.

GIVE NO CHANCE TO DISCOURAGEMENT
The easiest way, to overcome the discouragement, on this heavenly race: is to have a self encouraging spirit. You need to train yourself, on how to encourage yourself with the Word of God; irrespective of what you're going through in life. It is written, that David encouraged himself in the Lord; when his people were invaded, and carried away by the enemy. Meditate on this scripture: And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6. I don't know what you may be going through right now. Are you thinking of calling it quit? All you need to do beloved, is to imitate David's example; by encouraging yourself in the Lord. If you keep on reading that Bible passage, you would discover how David recovered all that was lost at the end. Without fail, victory is yours; if you faint not. 1 Peter 5:10

MAKE HEAVEN YOUR FOCUS
The primary reason, most christians, easily give up on the heavenly race; is simply because they have not made"Heaven", their main goal in their mind. Consider, what Apostle Paul, told us in the Word of God. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter Romans 8:35-36. He made us to understand, that we should not allow anything to separate us; from Jesus Christ, and our heavenly race. May God, grant us the grace to stay focused; on our race to heaven, in Jesus mighty name, amen.
