It's so amazing to see humanity honour those in human authority more than the Almighty Creator, who has the power to enthrone and dethrone; to kill and make alive. I read some years ago of how a former governor was sent to five years in jail by a judge. Then, I began to wonder why people wouldn't fear God. If a man could send a former governor to jail, what position would anyone hold on earth that would make the angel of God to respect him or her before the judgment seat of Christ? Proverbs 28:14 KJV

So many people don't see any reason they should serve God. To them, serving God is a waste of time and energy. They say, "Why should we even serve God? Do we need money from Him or healing? After all, we have the best hospitals at our disposal." They believe they are very healthy and live in a very clean environment. In fact, being hygienic is their second nature. If they must visit a church, their aim is to showcase their wealth and give huge donations. What a wasted life to live indeed! Ephesians 5:15-17 KJV

Many people are really pushing God to the point of jealousy every day, thinking they are worshipping Him. How can one say he or she is worshipping God against His laid down principle of worship? God has told humanity what makes Him angry, and that is what the majority of believers are doing. It is written, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” God has spoken and He will bring it to pass. Psalm 138:2 KJV

I wonder how Apostle Paul, the rest of the apostles and martyrs of Jesus Christ in heaven would feel about the kind of Christianity that is now being practised on earth, considering what they went through during the course of rendering faithful service to God, and making it to where they are now. These men and women went through so much humiliation and distress, and even to the valley of death to prove their love for Jesus Christ. This is unlike what we have today, where Christians are giving themselves to Satan voluntarily. Jeremiah 13:10 KJV

Many believers have used the delay of the rapture to draw themselves into iniquity and perdition. It really saddens my heart that most believers only concentrate on the rapture. They rise and fall in and out of faith as rapture tarries, but totally forgot about death. They forgot that when one dies, his or her expectation of rapture is forever gone. It is written that no one knows the day of the rapture, just as no one knows when he or she will breathe the last breath. 1 Corinthians 15:52-54 KJV

When Jesus Christ in His manifold wisdom and mercy told us to take heed, what was He really talking about? He simply told us to guard and protect our minds; to regard with care; to take notice of; to attend to; to observe; to pay attention to all He has taught us while He was yet with humanity on earth. There was nothing that could profit man on earth that would lead Him into the Kingdom of God that Jesus Christ did not tell humanity before He left for His throne of glory, after paying for the sins He never committed. During one of my ministrations, I asked the members a question: "Is it possible for one to differentiate the bones of a white man and a black man? That of a wealthy man from a poor man, if dug up from the grave and placed in one area?" They all unanimously said, "There's no way it could be differentiated!" It's appalling that humanity has not found the reason to fear God and tremble before Him. People still make boast of themselves, using the breath they don't know when the Owner would stop its supply. It is very important for every believer to understand the danger of following Jesus Christ from afar. We read of how Peter followed Jesus Christ to fulfil the promise he had made to suffer anything for His sake and to the extent of dying for Him. When it was time to prove the love that he had promised to Jesus Christ, Peter failed woefully. He denied and followed Him from a distance, waiting to see what would happen to Jesus Christ in the end. Matthew 26:69-75 KJV
