DIVINE RESTORATION (PART 6)

Nov 01 2024

APOSTLE EMMANUEL OSEZELE'S GOSPEL OUTREACH

MSRPM DAILY DIVINE INSPIRATION

FRIDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2024

TITLE: DIVINE RESTORATION (PART 6)

KEY TEXT: Joel 2:25 KJV: "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."

RESTORATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST: The ultimate restoration is found in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, He restored humanity’s relationship with God. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." In Christ, we are restored to new life and reconciled to God. COLOSSIANS 1:12-14

Restoration for Israel Throughout the Bible: God continually promises to restore Israel, His chosen people. In Amos 9:14, God declares, "And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof." This prophetic restoration is a sign of God’s enduring covenant and faithfulness. ZECHARIAH 9:12

DIVINE RESTORATION IN OUR LIVES: As believers, we can trust in God’s promise of restoration. No matter what we have lost—whether joy, peace, health, or relationships—God is able to restore all things. Acts 3:21 speaks of the “times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” God is faithful to restore us and bring about His perfect will in our lives when we trust and obey Him. 2 CHRONICLES 7:14

PRAYER: Father Lord, I humble myself before you. In your mercy, forgive me in any way I have rebelled against you and restore all my lost virtue and blessings, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: JEREMIAH 30:17: KJV: “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”
