GOD’S HOLY WAY OR NO WAY

Oct 25 2024

APOSTLE EMMANUEL OSEZELE'S GOSPEL OUTREACH

MSRPM DAILY DIVINE INSPIRATION

FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER 2024

TITLE: GOD’S HOLY WAY OR NO WAY

KEY TEXT: 1 Thessalonians 4:7 KJV: “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”

The path that God sets before us is one of holiness and righteousness. His way is not merely one of many choices, but the only way that leads to life and peace. As the scriptures reminds us, we must choose His way, forsaking all other paths that leads to destruction. LEVITICUS 20:26

THE NARROW WAY: Jesus said, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). God’s way is narrow and requires commitment, holiness, and faithfulness. It is not a popular path, but it is the one that leads to eternal life. 2 PETER 2:21

THE CALL TO HOLINESS: God’s way is a holy way, and He calls us to walk in holiness. As it is written, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). The pursuit of holiness is not optional for the believer. God’s standard is perfection, and while we may stumble, we are called to strive for righteousness with the help of His grace. 1 PETER 2:9

TRUSTING IN GOD'S WAY: We are often tempted to trust in our own wisdom or the ways of the world, but God instructs us to lean on Him alone. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
God’s way may not always be easy or make sense to us, but it is the only path that leads to true peace and fulfillment. HEBREWS 12:14

PRAYER: O Lord my God, have mercy on me in anyway I have been trying to follow you, a holy God, in an unholy way. I repent and ask for the grace to follow you in a holy way, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: 2 CORINTHIANS 7:1 KJV: “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
