COURAGE DEMYSTIFIED (PART 2)

Oct 20 2024

APOSTLE EMMANUEL OSEZELE'S GOSPEL

MSRPM DAILY DIVINE INSPIRATION

SUNDAY 20TH OCTOBER 2024

TITLE: COURAGE DEMYSTIFIED (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Psalm 61:1-2 KJV: “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we open the door to deeper connections and greater self-awareness. In a world that sometimes celebrates perfection and certainty, embracing vulnerability is a bold and courageous act. “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” (Psalm 118:6).

Courage is also needed in the face of change. Life is filled with unexpected twists and turns, and it takes courage to navigate them. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Whether it is the loss of a job, a relationship, or a sense of purpose, moments of great change test our resilience. Courage helps us adapt and move forward, even when the path ahead is unclear. PSALM 61:1-2

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). This Scripture reminds us that even in the face of uncertainty, we have the strength to endure and the ability to rebuild, for “the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10).

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please help me build my strength in You, so that I will not faint in times of uncertainty, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Psalm 27:14 KJV: “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
