TITLE: ARE YOU AWARE? (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Luke 6:31 KJV: “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”

Are you aware that you must treat others the way you want to be treated? Are you aware that you must not be egocentric? You love to be cherished, but you look down on people. Are you aware that you are walking to hell? You want people to cry, but want to see yourself laughing. You want people to celebrate you, but you are sad when somebody is testifying of God’s goodness to them. Are you aware that you are doing evil to yourself? Matthew 7:12

Are you aware of things that God detests? If they are found in you, you will not enter the kingdom of God. A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood. You abortionist, you better go and repent, too. It is not only when you kill that you shed blood. You that stabs someone at the back, you have killed that person's character and shed innocent blood. You better repent. The Lord hates it. Proverbs 6:16-17

A heart that devices wicked imagination. As you hear godly messages, your heart gets angry of how you will destroy your friend that is good to you. Feet that are swift in running to mischief. Wherever people are doing evil, you will be found there. A false witness that speaks lies. The Lord hates it. And if you die with that character, you are finished for eternity. Are you aware? You are aware now, so repent. Proverbs 6:18

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me for doing the things that you hate. From now on, empower me to do the things that you love, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Romans 12:9 KJV: “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”
