TITLE: STRIVE FOR FAITHFULNESS AND PERFECTION

KEY TEXT: “And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart” (2 Chronicles 19:9 KJV).

Being a Christian is not about going to church, praying when needing help from God, doing church activities to be known,  becoming a member of a popular church, or belonging to a certain class of people. The Lord, God Almighty, is not just looking for people who will walk with Him or work for Him, but those who will walk in His fear, be faithful, and work with perfection. Are you doing anything for the Lord? Are you a worker in the vineyard of God? It is a CALL for re-examination. You will not be rewarded by God if you are not faithful in your duties. Matthew 5:48, Ezekiel 18:9 KJV 

GOD REWARDS FAITHFULNESS: There is no one who has ever walked with God or worked for Him faithfully and consistently that was not duly rewarded. So many people are busy doing one thing or the other for God, but the question is, how many people are consistently, faithfully, and perfectly working for Him? The first man in the Bible, who experienced the rapture, was a man who walked with God consistently, faithfully, and perfectly. Consider what was written of him in Genesis 5:24: “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” God will not take a rebel or anyone who is not fruitful and faithful. People like Demas and Judas Iscariot should not expect to be raptured or rewarded by God. 1 Samuel 12:24 KJV 

HEAVEN IS MADE FOR THE FAITHFUL, FRUITFUL, AND PERFECT: Jesus Christ said that we have to be perfect just as our Heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48). It means that we have to be like our Father to be able to enter His Kingdom and live with Him forever. Are you really hoping to be raptured or welcomed in Heaven after death? You must walk with God as Enoch did. Be faithful, fruitful, and strive for perfection, not only in spiritual works, but in your secular work, business, and everything you do as a Christian. Let the fear of God be your guide in all things. No unfaithful person will experience the rapture or be rewarded by God. Remember, God is not a man; He sees the motive behind everything you do. Hypocrisy and eyeservice are not allowed in one's work for God and walk with Him. 1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, please have mercy and forgive me for all my years of unfaithful, unfruitful, and imperfect walk with you. I repent today and ask that you please give me the grace to walk with you faithfully, fruitfully, and perfectly, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord" (Matthew 25:21 KJV).
