TOPIC: DOES SATAN STILL CARE ABOUT YOU?

KEY TEXT: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV).

The devil is not so much worried nor interested in attacking unstable Christians that are neither here nor there. There are Christians who are neither in the Church nor out of the church. They run into the church when they need God's help and walk away to their world of worldliness when they have gotten what they needed from God. The demons do not take unstable Christians seriously, because they could easily fall prey to Satan's schemes because their souls are unsaved just like those of the unbelievers. It is so unfortunate that these lukewarm and indecisive Christians actually think they are smart, but they don't realise how foolish and vulnerable they are to the one whose job is to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10 KJV

GOD DEMANDS STEADFASTNESS: God is not just looking for labourers or Christians in his kingdom work, but God is looking for believers who have spiritual stamina. Those who are persistent and resilient in fighting for the kingdom's advancement. It is really very rare to see believers who are stable in doing what benefits the kingdom of God in these end times. Most people are only looking for their earthly gain in the church. Colossians 3:1-4 has no meaning to the majority of today's professing Christians. The church is now becoming pay as you go like MTN network. Most people that are doing God's work are like networks, they go off and on depending on how their perishable needs are met by God. Ephesians 5:6 KJV

YOU HAVE A DATE WITH GOD:  It is scary seeing how people are taking God as if He is a man like them with no fear, not sober and no genuine love for the things of God. Many want God to do theirs before doing God's. Only very few still consider what Jesus Christ went through to save them, although not everyone that claims to be saved is actually born again. There are lots of mixed multitudes in today's Churches. Don't forget you will surely stand before God to give an account of all you are doing, either good or bad. Repent and get serious with God in holiness before it is too late for you. Psalm 139:7 KJV

PRAYER: My Father and my God, have mercy on me and forgive me for my unstable walk with you and unreliable work for you. I repent of my selfishness and worldliness. Grant me the grace to do your will that will guarantee my soul for heaven at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad" (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV).
