Title: GO AND DO YOUR RESTITUTION 

Key Text: Exodus 22:12 KJV - And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

According to the English dictionary, restitution is defined as a process of compensation for losses; the act of making good or compensating for loss or injury; a return or restoration to a previous condition or position. Now, you understand what the Word of God means when it says, “Restitute to the owner.” It is written: "If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep." Exodus 22:1 KJV 

RETURN THOSE STOLEN PROPERTIES: Do not be deceived, beloved in Christ. God is a holy God and a righteous Judge. He will never justify you with your stolen properties when you have the opportunity to return them back to the owner. Jesus Christ saves sinners out of sin, not for them to remain in sin. He told the woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more. Do not let your labour for Christ be in vain. You could be preaching, singing, or doing all the religious duties, but remember, Satan is waiting to accuse you before God if you fail to restitute where necessary. John 8:11 KJV

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ARGUMENT BEFORE GOD? Maybe you want to use 2 Corinthians 5:17 as an excuse: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Yes, old things have indeed passed away, and you now have a new character (the nature of God and new life in Christ). Would your new nature still be comfortable living with your old, stolen properties, fake identity, fraudulent money, and illegal marriage, etc? Will God be happy seeing you with Satan's properties in your possession? We must judge ourselves so that we will not be judged. Give your life to Jesus Christ today if you are not born again. 1 Corinthians 11:31 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, please grant me the grace and boldness to do all that I need to do, especially in restituting all I have to restitute in order for my salvation to be genuine and for the safety of my soul, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
