Topic: Let Nothing Take Peace From You
Key Text: John 14:27 KJV - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

It is abnormal to be looking for what you already have. Every born again Christian should have peace in his or her mind no matter what might be going on around. Jesus did not say I will give you peace but he said, "peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you". John 14:27. This simply means that true Christians are peace carriers.

Have you lost peace of mind? It's not because of that problem or situation that made you lose your peace; only SIN can take peace from a man. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and no one can take him out of his place. He said,  "I will never leave you nor forsake you". The Prince of Peace have spoken. So, what would take him from you if not you? Hebrews 13:5 KJV 

It is written, there is no peace for the wicked. Have you lost your peace? Check if there's unforgiving spirit in you, if there's any sin you must need to confess or a character that needs to be dealt with. The Prince of Peace that I know cannot dwell in a dirty heart. Repent from all your sins, forgive those that offended you, learn to give to those in need and learn to appreciate people and glorify God in every little thing you are blessed with; then, peace will be yours. Philippians 4: 6-7 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, grant me the grace to do all that it takes to retain the peace of God in my heart; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen.

Reflection: Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 KJV
