Topic: My God My Battle
Key Text: Exodus 14:14 KJV
-The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

So many believers are fighting unending battles: some have given up the fight, while some have surrendered to the enemy by going to seek help where help would never come. A lot of believers died fighting and eventually found themselves in hellfire.

Has God Almighty become a liar? God forbid. He said, He would fight for His children and they would hold their peace. But who are the children God says he would fight for? Is it the same people Jesus Christ said they are of their father the devil in John 8:44a? What makes you think God would not strengthen the hands of the enemy against you in that battle? Romans 6:16 KJV

God wouldn't answer you because you are to call on Him first into that battle. Also, God wouldn't fight for you because you called upon him. God is a just God, who fights a just battle. One cannot be a rebellious believer and expect God to fight for him or her. Remember, the same God that delivered the Israelites from the Egyptians also destroyed them in the wilderness. God therefore demands your obedience to fight for you not tears and prayers in hypocrisy. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, grant me the Spirit of total obedience to obey your word so that you may fight all my battles; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

Reflection: And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV
