 TITLE: OBEDIENCE IS THE KEY

 KEY TEXT: ”But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries” (Exodus 23:22 KJV).

 The Scriptures cannot be broken for anyone. God has given the prerequisite of making Him fight for or bless anyone. He said that if you obey His voice and keep His commands, He will be an enemy to your enemies. It is your obedience that will propel God’s favour. God is always looking for a man who will hear His voice and obey Him promptly. Many children of God are crying about not being delivered from their enemies, but they are the ones who have refused to hear what the Word of God said about their deliverance. Some heard Him but refused to obey the instructions that were given. God will never break His Word to bless man; man is to obey God to get blessings from Him. Hebrews 10:26 KJV

 TITLE: PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD ALONE

 KEY TEXT: "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him" (Psalm 28:7 KJV).

 God is a jealous God, who would never allow His great name to be conjoined with any of His creation to get anything from Him. The burning of candles, praying with sand, stone, and other material things to get God's approval is a grievous sin of idolatry before God. It is a pity that the majority of today's Christians are into chronic idolatry unknowingly, hence, gathering the wrath of God against themselves. Anyone who professes to have his or her trust in God must check himself or herself to see if his or her trust in God is not propelled or hanging on other things. The question the Lord will ask most believers of today when they come before Him at the end would be, “Was your trust in the Lord hanging on other things, but just professing to trust in Jesus Christ?” Many will be disappointed after realising what their deception and craftiness have caused their souls. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

TITLE: LOOKING UNTO JESUS CHRIST ALONE

KEY TEXT: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2 KJV).

It is only in this generation that I see people value cars more than the owner. We are in a time where self-acclaimed prophets are more valued in the eyes of their gullible followers than God who owns the prophets and their prophetic powers or anointing. Christians of today are ready to kill anyone who speaks against their “papa” or “daddy” but cannot tell anyone that Jesus Christ loves them. They cannot defend the Scripture the way they fight for their so-called spiritual fathers. Child of God, it is clearly stated that every believer must follow, walk, and look unto Jesus Christ. The majority of today's church-goers have decided to put Jesus Christ aside, to look upon men who have no power over their breath.  James 1:8 KJV

TITLE: BE SET APART INDEED

KEY TEXT: “But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto Him" (Psalms 4:3 KJV).

How painful it is in the heart of God to see that His children that are supposed to reveal the heavenly kind of lifestyle to the people of the world are now the ones teaching the world how to be worldly. I wonder if Jesus Christ is not regretting dying for man, as God regretted creating man in Genesis 6:6. Every true born-again child of God is called out to live for the glory of God. God does not call people just for calling sake. Whoever God calls, He separates for Himself from the world. This is how Christians are supposed to be in the world. Every true child of God should understand that he or she is a stranger on this earth. He or she has a few years to live here on earth to reveal the holiness of God to the world, and then go home to a permanent residence. David said, “I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.” Psalms119:19 KJV

TITLE: LIKE THE WOMAN IN TRAVAIL
 
KEY TEXT:  “A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world” (John 16:21 KJV).

Child of God, according to the key text, one must understand that this heavenly race we are running as Christians, is like a woman in travail. The race is not an easy one. Pregnancy is full of pains, and a pregnant woman keeps going through it until she delivers the baby. A man once told me that when his wife was about putting to birth, she kept crying, saying she will never sleep with him anymore due to the pain she was going through. The doctor then told her that she will definitely come back to the delivery room in one or two years. Why did the doctor say that? He said so because he understood she would soon forget the pains after childbirth. Ecclesiastes 3:1&4 KJV

TITLE: ARE YOU GENUINELY WITH CHRIST? 

KEY TEXT: “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me” (Matthew 15:8 KJV).

Heaven would have been full of the souls of Christians who are dying daily. There would have been a celebration of the arrival of saints in Heaven every minute if the professing believers were actually genuinely born again without ulterior motives. It is heartbreaking to note that the more churches are populated, the more hellfire is enlarging itself to absorb the souls of false Christians, who were in the church, but far away from the God they claimed to be worshipping or working for. Luke 6:46 KJV

TITLE: THE BREVITY OF MAN'S LIFE ON EARTH

KEY TEXT: "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble" (Job 14:1).

Human beings do not know how their days are on the earth. No one would take the temporary things of this world as a do-or-die thing if he or she knew the shortness of the human life on earth. If a thousand years is like a day in God's eyes, what is eighty or hundred years then? Job was a man who saw the sweet and bitter sides of life. He never forgot God, His Creator, when life was treating him good. He was perfect in his ways and made sure the ways of his children were right with God. He kept his integrity, even when life turned upside down on him. Job understood the shortness of man's life on earth. He knew it wouldn’t be long for him
to stand before God to give an account of himself either in wealth, health, poverty or sickness. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

 TITLE: THE BREAD-SEEKING BELIEVERS

 KEY TEXT: “Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread” (John 6:34 KJV).

 Jesus Christ laments daily, seeing the people He died for not knowing the reason He died for them. The wolves in sheep's clothing (men of god) have succeeded in turning the hearts of many believers from the purpose of grace and salvation, which is repentance from sin to make it to Heaven into earthly, materialistic gain. Jesus Christ, while He was on His earthly ministry of redeeming mankind, tried to introduce the Kingdom of God to the multitude that followed Him. He told them He was the only way to the Father. They were all offended and almost stoned Him. He told them that anyone who believes in Him shall never see death. This made them furious, and they wanted to strangle Him. Then He told them that they shall know the truth and the truth will make them free. That also offended them. They said that they were never in bondage; all they wanted was a miracle and to see Him give them bread to eat. John 8:32-40 KJV

KEY TEXT: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23 KJV).

The common goal for every believer or Christian is supposed to be in line with the Scriptures, according to Matthew 6:33, which says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” It means every Christian is supposed to be in pursuit of God's Kingdom and its righteousness. Everyone's soul is supposed to be pointing to Heaven. Hence, it is very important for one to check if his/her soul is still in line with eternal life. One may think he or she is right with God and set for Heaven. Making it to Heaven is not by wishing for it, but it is when one believes and works hard to keep his/her soul on track in holiness and righteousness. It is written that no one shall see God without holiness. 1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV
