 TITLE: OBEDIENCE IS THE KEY

 KEY TEXT: ”But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries” (Exodus 23:22 KJV).

 The Scriptures cannot be broken for anyone. God has given the prerequisite of making Him fight for or bless anyone. He said that if you obey His voice and keep His commands, He will be an enemy to your enemies. It is your obedience that will propel God’s favour. God is always looking for a man who will hear His voice and obey Him promptly. Many children of God are crying about not being delivered from their enemies, but they are the ones who have refused to hear what the Word of God said about their deliverance. Some heard Him but refused to obey the instructions that were given. God will never break His Word to bless man; man is to obey God to get blessings from Him. Hebrews 10:26 KJV

 GOD DEMANDS YOUR WILFUL SUBMISSION: It is baffling seeing people wanting God to do it their own selfish and sinful way, but they will remain in bondage. As long as they retain their sinful integrity, God will never change from the Mighty and Powerful God that He is. His hands are always stretched out for the deliverance of man, but man is mostly not fond of holding onto God's stretched-forth hands for healing and deliverance. Disobedience to God's Word and willful sin have kept many believers away from their divine inheritance. Isaiah 59:1-3 KJV

 CHECK OUT THE MISSING KEY: Self-examination is always demanded when walking with and working for God. We must be careful and check ourselves to make sure we are free from sin when asking anything from God according to Matthew 7:6. Have you fasted and prayed, but the situation still persists? Maybe great things have been said or revealed about you prophetically and things are still the same. Check where you have missed it with God. Check if there is an instruction from God you have failed to obey. It is certain that the force of blessings will obey you when you obey God and do His will. God is always and ever ready to avenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV

 PROMPT OBEDIENCE IS DEMANDED: The quicker one obeys God, the faster God's power is manifested in him or her. Jonah passed through stress and frustration when he remained disobedient to God. He never saw light until he realised he had to obey God's command. Do you want things to always work out for you quickly? Always act fast when obeying God. Delaying to obey God is equal to disobedience, and it could lead to the rebellion that can obstruct one's destiny, just like king Saul (1 Samuel 15:22). It is written: “Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.” Exodus 23:21 KJV

 PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy and forgive me in any way I have disobeyed your word, making me suffer delay or setback, even robbing me of my salvation. Grant me the grace to obey your commands without delay from now on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
