*TITLE: CONSISTENCY IN CHRISTIAN LIVING (PART 3)*

*KEY TEXT: 2 Thessalonians 3:13 KJV: “But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”*

*ENDURANCE IN TRIALS: God expects His children to remain steadfast during trial and temptation that might come their way through the help of the Holy Spirit in them. James 1:12 offers a promise for those who remain consistent during trials, "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." Consistency in faith during hard times leads to eternal reward in heaven. PHILIPPIANS 3:14*

*UNWAVERING FAITH: Hebrews 10:23 encourages believers to "hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)." Consistency in faith demonstrates trust in God's promises, and His faithfulness. PSALM 37:4*

*CONSISTENCY IN SPEECH: A believer is expected to be positive in his or her words at all times, regardless of circumstances. Ephesians 4:29 advises, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." Our words should consistently reflect the grace and truth of God. MATTHEW 12:37*

*PRAYER: Lord God Almighty, grant me the grace to live a defined Christian lifestyle. Deliver me from the spirit of instability, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*

*REFLECTION: 1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV: "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”*
