TITLE: DEEPER HOLINESS IS DEMANDED (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Romans 6:11 KJV: “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

What is described in Romans 6:11 is deeper holiness. We were dead yesterday; we should pull away whatever that will make us die again. If you die in sin, you will die again; if you die in Jesus, you will die no more. Judas Iscariot for 30 pieces of silver, bought his way into hell. What is buying your into hell? Is it marriage, homes, clothes, possessions, etc? You are making a very big mistake; drop them. Lay aside whatever you think you are, no matter how holy or pure you think you are. Matthew 26:15

Are you holy? Be more holy. Are you pure? Be purer still until you get to that point of perfection. To get to a deeper holiness, you must do away with compromising. It is unfortunate that you, who is reading this message, may afterwards go and call a native doctor disguised as a pastor looking for prophecy. You may have 2 or 3 different pastors you are calling for different things and your pictures and names are in many altars. What vision or prophecy are you looking for that is not in the Word of God? Galatians 1:6-7

If holiness is the right way, be holy. If running up and down, mixing yourself with different spirits is the right thing, keep up. Job's holiness made God to build a hedge of protection around him. What are you running up and down for? Is it not for protection? When God is with you, when you are pure and holy, God will by Himself be the one watching over you. You don’t need those people you are running after. Job 1:9-10

PRAYER: Almighty Father, help me to be like Job, keeping myself pure in every state of life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Revelation 22:11 KJV: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
