TITLE: DEEPER HOLINESS IS DEMANDED (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: Psalm 18:35 KJV: “Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.”

If the level I am at is the highest I can ever attain, I give God all the glory. The only thing I have got all my life is salvation. Nothing else. He picked me out of nothing. What will I pay Him back with? Is it to go to hell? The only place I can open my mouth wide and give my testimony is in Heaven with saints, like Apostle Peter, Paul, and the rest. Whatever testimony I give you now is nothing. Psalms 111:1

The only time when the testimony will be pure, holy, right, and joyful is when I sit down with the saints in Heaven and tell them how I overcame. Isaiah says that the unclean cannot pass through the way of holiness. If it is my mouth, leg, or eyes that will make me unclean, I better pluck them out. What about you? Are you ready to lose anything for the sake of Heaven? Luke 17:33

Any sinner is a fool. For you to see Heaven but joyfully walk towards hell, you are a fool. If we allow sin to still dwell in our mortal bodies, we are foolish. Humanity has been foolish right from the misconduct of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, but I have decided not to be foolish anymore. I want to make it to Heaven, not hell. God says that I should go for a deeper holiness, and I am ready to go with Him by His grace. The days of foolishness are over. Proverbs 14:16

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, purge me from every foolishness that is making me enjoy doing the wrong things while I know what is right, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Proverbs 14:9 KJV: “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.”
