TITLE: NEW YEAR, GREATER RESPONSIBILITY

KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” 

Another year has come and another responsibility has been packaged for you. The Lord has not allowed you to come into this year for nothing. You are here for a reason and a responsibility. When I was in 2022, I reasoned as somebody in 2022, but now that I am in 2023, my thinking is changing. The same eye that the Lord used to look at you last year is not the same this year because you have now grown. 1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV

The Lord has given you life and another opportunity. Heaven and hell are about to watch you again. As a child of God, a platform is set for you to see how you are going to dance this year and how you are going to perform your responsibility. Do not be an abuser of God’s grace. Do not give Satan an occasion to laugh at Jesus Christ this year. The Lord has not crossed you over to leave you, but to watch you doing what you have crossed over for. Your reasoning for last year must therefore change. Luke 12:48 KJV

For you to be able to effectively manifest gloriously this year, you must check the type of spirit you are carrying. The spirit of the devil cannot manifest God. What kind of spirit are you carrying? If you have a witchcraft spirit, you cannot manifest Jesus Christ. If you have the spirit of the devil, you will manifest your father, the devil. The devil will also give you a greater responsibility, but the Lord is saying your duty is to strengthen the work of God and to bring people to the Kingdom of God. Luke 4:18 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, please deliver me from any spirit that will prevent me from manifesting the glory of God and fulfilling my responsibility, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:23 KJV).
