TITLE: THE KEY TO AN EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: HEBREWS 1:9 KJV, “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

The Holy Ghost cannot dwell where there is no peace and love. If the Holy Spirit is not in your home, your prayers are nothing but a waste of time and effort. Where there is peace, there is joy. Righteousness gives birth to peace, peace gives birth to joy, and the Holy Spirit brings all of these together. It is a natural phenomenon. When all these are in place, your prayers will be answered. JAMES 5:16 KJV

The only way we cannot be in darkness is when the light of God is shining, and that is only possible when we are clean and pure, walking according to His directives. How can one disobey the Lord and expect to enter His Kingdom? I tell you that in the afterlife, such a person who lived in darkness (sin) will be taken by surprise. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:4 KJV  

Do the right thing and amend your ways, let peace reign in your life, and let righteousness take over your home. And I tell you, everything will be okay with you by the grace and mercy of God. Seek holiness and righteousness; these are the key to God’s heart. Even when one does not pray, things will be added to him or her. Embrace holiness and righteousness today, and life will be sweet. MATTHEW 6:33 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, thank you for opening my eyes to know the things that I have to do to enjoy the peace and joy that only comes from you. Grant me the grace to always do things that please you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.  

REFLECTION: “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him” (JOHN 8:29 KJV).
