TITLE: DOING GOOD IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 9:10 KJV, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.“

Because God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son to be killed and destroyed. The whole world is glorifying Jesus because He gave His life to save humanity. He is bold to say that He is the Son of His Father. His glory is for all of eternity because He gave bountifully. He sowed good into this world, and now He is reaping it in Heaven. God has exalted His Son, Jesus, so much that His name is above all names. Philippians 2:9 KJV

You must do something for something to come up. Jesus’ exaltation did not happen overnight, but He planted into the lives of humans by giving His body and blood. His life was given for us to have life. Give, and it shall be given unto you. When you give good, you receive good, but when you give evil, you receive evil. Luke 6:38 KJV

One thing about giving is that you do not reap it the same way you gave it, but you reap a double portion of what you sowed (good or bad). Christ has shown us a good example. As children of God, we must learn to live how Christ lived. The Lord gave His body and blood for us to eat and drink, but what do you give out to others as a Christian? What are you sowing in the lives of others? Take heed and be careful of what you are doing because you will undoubtedly reap it in double. Proverbs 22:8 KJV
 
PRAYER: O Lord, please help me sow positive seeds from now on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given“ (MARK 4:24 KJV).
