TITLE: WALKING IN TRUTH IN COMPLETE HOLINESS (Part 3)

KEY TEXT: John 4:23 KJV, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” 


The Word of God must be our standard if we are to maintain truth. Everything about you must be right wherever you are found and wherever your feet take you to. That excellent spirit of God must be in you. A liar cannot possess the Spirit of God. To possess the Spirit of God means you are always truthful. Whatever you cannot tell someone to his or face face, refrain from saying it when they are not there. Whatever you cannot defend openly, do not discuss it at all with anyone. Proverbs 8:7 KJV

This message is to prepare you for the trial ahead of you. A day is coming when you will go to a certain place or interact with certain people, and at that time, heaven and hell will be watching to see if you will maintain your integrity. As God sent Jesus into the world, so has Jesus Christ sent us. As there are agents of darkness, we are agents of light and messengers of God. Light and darkness must not operate in us at the same time. John 17:17 KJV

Nothing a child of God does that heaven has not pre-planned, unless you are a carnal believer. It is written, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Allow yourself to be led by the Word of God, as the Word of God is the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, let the truth of your Word sanctify me, as you give me the grace to obey it, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment” (Proverbs 13:19 KJV).
