TITLE: WALKING IN TRUTH IN COMPLETE HOLINESS (Part 2)

KEY TEXT: 1 John 5:20 KJV, “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” 

Are you truly in Him that is true? For you to boldly say that you have salvation, you must be truthful. God has given us understanding to know Him, that there is no lie or hypocrisy with Him. He has given us wisdom to know that Christ is true, and that He is in God and we are in Him and that is the truth. John 14:15 KJV 

RE-EVALUATE YOUR LIFESTYLE: What kind of life should you live that people will know that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit lives in you? Is it one that causes commotion, forgery, hatred, etc? We must not give occasion for people out there to laugh at Christ. Our lifestyles must not give occasion to the devil to say, “Righteous man, look at them again.” If there should be anyone that says, “Look at them again”, they should be talking about our actions that glorify God and defend the truth. John 3:21 KJV

We must allow ourselves to be disciplined and be reproved by God and not get angry. We should be happy that we are alive for God to correct. There are people in hell saying that they wish they would have listened to correction. Let us allow the painful and gainful truth in our lives. Let the Word of God correct you and be your compass henceforth. God’s Word can never tell you to do something against God or against your destiny. It will always tell you do the right thing,  although painful, but will benefit your soul at the end. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, please give me the grace to abide by the painful but gainful truth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (JOHN 4:24 KJV).
