TITLE: HOLINESS, A NON-NEGOTIABLE LIFESTYLE

KEY TEXT: "Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD" (Isaiah 52:11 KJV).

God demands that anyone doing His work should be clean and remain clean. It is totally non-negotiable for those who choose to walk with God and work for Him to keep themselves from sin. Those walking with God are supposed to have the mindset of holiness. Anything short of holiness would definitely disengage that soul from the Living God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV

God is holy and perfect, and no one should be compelled to live a holy life. Holiness should be the lifestyle of every true child of God. Being born again does not end in "Lord Jesus Christ, come into my life." It should be a total change from the old nature of Adam to the new nature of Christ. As your new nature is evident to the unbelievers, it could also encourage them to give their lives to Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV  

A true born-again child of God should have power over sin and iniquity. His or her words must be seasoned. The people he or she associates with should be Christ-like in nature. A true believer must not be found in the midst of evil-doers, because the Holy Spirit rules all the time in his or her life. The world and its fantasies have no power over a sanctified believer. Be a true born-again believer, and in the end, Heaven is guaranteed. 1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please work on me until I become perfect as you demand of me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light" (1 Peter 2:9 KJV).
