TITLE: LOOK INTO YOURSELF

KEY TEXT: “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2 KJV).

I have come to understand and draw the conclusion that God is always ready to bless His children. He is ever ready to deliver His own children when they are in trouble. No wonder it is written, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 1:2 KJV). It is the will of God for His children to enjoy His blessings in all ramifications, but not without the well-being of one's soul. Psalm 68:19 KJV

YOU ARE THE REASON: Now that we know God is always ready to bless His children and to see His children prosper, why are things not going the way they should amongst most believers? Well, the Bible answered that your iniquities have separated you from your God, hence, God cannot bless you or fight for you. David, a man after God's heart said God will not hear him if he regards iniquity in his heart (Psalm 66:18). It is sad that most believers are speaking in tongues and claiming their blessings in faith with trailers full of iniquities in their hearts. Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: I do not know what you are going through right now. I do not know how many men of God, both real and false ones you have gone to for help. Maybe you are going from one deliverance program to another, but it is getting worse. All you need to do is to look inwardly to see if you are still in line with God. Do all the cleansing by purging your sins and making your way right with God. You will see how things will turn around in your life for good, except God is the one allowing you to go through the wilderness experience to teach you things you never knew through what you are going through. It will end in victory when God is done working on you for a brighter and holier journey with God. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me for ever closing my eyes on my sins, hoping to receive blessing from you with loads of iniquities in my heart. I repent today and ask the blood of Jesus Christ to purge my sins away and deliver me from those that hate me, as I make my way right with you, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die" (Ezekiel 18:21 KJV).
