TITLE: GOD IS ALL IN ALL

KEY TEXT: “The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord” (Proverbs 16:1 KJV). 

It is written, “In the  beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). God is the God of all things in heaven, earth, and under the earth. No matter how much man tries to take God out of the picture by using science and human manipulations, God will still prevail and it will end badly for man. The more humanity tries to be self-dependent the more self-destructive they become. The world is upside down today because man has forsaken God. God Almighty, in His loving kindness, gave the earth to humanity and gave guidelines through His Word to know if they would be wise enough to understand that the earth came from nothing but was created by Him, God Almighty. God also gave man the freedom to determine what life he wanted to live (either to humble himself and serve God Almighty or become a god to himself). Romans 9:21, Habakkuk 2:20 KJV 

MAN BECAME LORD OVER HIMSELF: Man, in his pride and quest for power and lordship, became foolish. It is scripturally and naturally confirmed that man in his state of liberty, can easily forget God and make himself a god over himself. Man, being blind and unwise could kill to become lord over his fellowmen for just a short time. Many have, in their quest for lordship and seeing themselves being worshipped, proclaimed to be god or jesus. How can a man who will grow old, get weakened and die, be so confident enough to call himself a god or lord over what is in existence before he was born! Isaiah 46:9 KJV 


GOD IS ETERNALLY SOVEREIGN: Man, in his rebellion, has always tried to compare himself with his maker. They are doing everything to see that Jesus Christ does not reign over them. But it is written, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippines 2:10). Many have allowed the devil to deceive them by handing to the devil their positions and possessions to their own damnation. The devil is using them to fight the gospel of Christ. Many  are bringing out inventions to undermine the Lordship of God. Some have even established churches to draw souls from the true Church of Christ through lying signs and damnable wonders. But I tell you, they will all perish in the lake of fire if they fail to repent, and only God's Kingdom will stand. Jesus Christ being the Lord of all and the power of God’s creation will reign for ever and ever, Hallelujah! John 1:1-5 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, please have mercy on me and forgive me for knowingly or unknowingly making myself a god over myself and over other people. I receive the grace to  humble myself before you and be under your Lordship today and forever, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen! 

REFLECTION: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:18 KJV).
