TITLE: LIVE IN CONSONANCE WITH GOD'S PURPOSE

KEY TEXT: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV).

It is written: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The thoughts of God towards humanity have always been thoughts of good. They are thoughts to save humanity from the bondage of Satan, sin, self, and to give man eternal life. He showed this great love by sending His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ) to the world to die for the sins of mankind. John 3:16 KJV 

MAN WILL ALWAYS REASON AS MAN: God wants to give man an expected end. What is the expected end of man? Is it to get a good job, get married, build massive houses, have children, buy exotic cars, etc? At most, these are the levels to which man's carnal expectations could go. This is why man always forsakes God when they have gotten to their expected end. They think there is no need to serve God anymore since their prayers have been answered and they have no prayer points to pray anymore. That is how shallow the human mentality is. These things are far below what God means by an expected end. Nothing on earth is to be compared to God's expectation for man. 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV 

ONLY WITH THE EYES OF THE SPIRIT: The love of God for man, His plans, and His expected end are far beyond human comprehension. It takes only the eyes of the spirit of God in a man to see these things; man cannot see it in his sinful state. It only takes those who have good thoughts for their souls to get born again and run away from sin, to be able to see through the eyes of the spirit what God has for man in eternity. Consider this Scripture: "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV). You could see that what God has for man (in His plan) is far beyond what humanity is dying to have. Proverbs 23:18 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, grant me the grace to love my soul as you love me, so that I may learn to avoid sin and achieve the wonderful things you have in your thoughts for me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV).
