Topic: Your Evidence Of Being A Christian Demanded
Key Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A lot of people who claim to be Christians or born again don't know what they are doing to themselves. They have no idea of the wrath of God that would befall them if they are found wanting on the last day. I wonder if people realize the penalty that follows the sin of impersonation: "claiming to be what one is not." Most so-called believers can't tell what makes them to be called believers, yet they claim to be believers. 3 John 1:11 KJV 

Old Things Passed Away: A lot of believers who claim to be Christians are still exhibiting their old nature of stealing, lying, fornicating, smoking, gossiping, witchcraft, bribery, polygamy, etc. In fact, they completely have the Adamic nature in them, yet they claim to be Christians. Satan is only watching and waiting until they sleep and never wake up again, to show them what impersonation is to God. John 3:3 KJV 

Everything Became New: How are you a Christian when nothing is new about you? The Bible did not say some things became new, but everything. It's a serious matter. The life of Christ must take over the life of the old man in you to be called a Christian. Being a Christian is not by the name you bear, the church you attend, nor the Christian background  you came from. It's the life of total submission to Jesus Christ whom you profess to love. Luke 6:46 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me and forgive me if I have been impersonating my identity as a Christian unknowingly. I repent of all my sins today, and I drop the old nature to take up the new nature in Christ, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21 KJV
