Topic: Don't Drop Your Cross
Key Text: Matthew 16:24 KJV - Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Most people are denying themselves life, thinking they are good by running from one native doctor to the other; from one false prophet to another, all in the name of trying to prevent themselves from dying. Some even go as far as killing other people to preserve their own lives. What a waste of time and adding more salt to injury! There's only one way to eternally preserve one's life. John 14:6 KJV 

Take Up Your Cross And Follow Him That Has The Breath Of All Mankind In His Hands: Not even the so-called ministers of the gospel of today want to hear anything called Cross, not to talk of carrying it. Many say that Jesus Christ has carried their cross for them already. They believe all they need to do is to sleep, wake up, and play in iniquity. Most churches of today are competing with clubhouses in the abominable church set up and lifestyles. Galatians 6:7 KJV 

I Wonder Where Most of the "Rock and Roll Pastors" Get Their Self Destructive Scriptures They Quote: Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, told His followers to sell what they have, take up their cross, and follow Him. Also, the Apostles of Old gave up everything to follow Jesus Christ. On the contrary, ministers and most believers of today want to carry the whole riches of the world on their head and follow the same Jesus. No one wants to suffer for their Master anymore. Matthew 16:25 KJV 
 
Prayer: O Lord my God, please have mercy on me and grant me the grace to carry my cross and follow you joyfully until the end, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 10:38-39 KJV
