Topic: Genuine Love Is Demanded 
Key Text: Matthew 7:12 KJV - Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Beloved in Christ, this Bible passage marked the bedrock of true holiness and righteousness in the church of Christ. Not until you are able to put others in your place, you do not have the mind of Christ. You are not yet a true believer, if you can still do hurtful things to others, or hurt others without considering how it would be if it were done to you. Romans 12:10 KJV

Do You Truly Love God? How could you say you love God if you always find it joyful to see others around you living in pain? You are a born again as you profess, but do you have the life of Christ in you? Is the mind of Jesus Christ in you? The Bible told us in 1 Corinthians 2:16, "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." Do you want your prayers and supplications to be answered speedily by God? You must have the mind of Christ and the genuine love of Christ in you. 1 John 4:20 KJV

Do You Always Want To Be Celebrated By Others: Do you want others to celebrate you? Do you want to be honoured by others? Learn to honour and celebrate others, too. Some believers, even some ministers of the gospel, have made themselves lord over the people around them and over their congregations. This ought not to be so. 1 Peter 2:17; 5:3 KJV

Learn To Consider Others: It is written, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works." We are to consider one another in all things. We must learn to love, pray, and care for one another if we want to be loved and cared for by others. See what the Bible says in Hebrews 12:3, "For consider him (Jesus Christ) that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." We all must learn from this Bible verse and make our ways right with one another. Hebrews 10:24 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy and forgive me in any way I have been thinking of myself only and taking others as nothing. Please, let the mind of Christ be given to me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV
