Topic: Genuine Repentance And Unwavering Faith Demanded
Key Text: Acts 20:21 KJV - Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
This is the message that was given to the first apostles by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He came so that men could return to God through genuine repentance of their sins and have faith in Him. He’s the Lamb that was slain and the only way by which man can get closer to God Almighty (John 14:6). Jesus is the way by which men can seek the Kingdom and its righteousness. It's unfortunate that most believers today seem to be very close to God, yet they don't even know Him. Many think that exercising faith in Jesus Christ means to shout His name or to proclaim Him without forsaking their old nature. Matthew 6:33 KJV
 
The Original Message Is Missing In The Church: Most churches do not hear the message of repentance for six months, others for a year, while some believers don't even know what is called repentance. The Holy Spirit who would have convicted people on to repentance has been replaced by the spirit of Satan in the church. All one could see now in most churches are prophecy and deliverance, without the corresponding Word of God through the Holy Bible. The written Word of God has now been replaced by the boasting words of church leaders. Acts 19:20 KJV
 
Genuine Repentance And Faith In Jesus Christ Is The Prerequisite To Winning God's Heart: How does the church expect the Holy Spirit to dwell in it when the believers don’t see anything wrong with living in sin, as long as the man or woman of God is okay with what they are doing, even if it's wrong in the sight of God? My beloved in Christ, I fear many believers will end up in hellfire if they keep living with their eyes closed to the true Word of God, or if they cover-up their sins and keep running after prophecies in their iniquity. Check yourself now and see those things pushing you against God and sending you to hell. Ezekiel 18:20 KJV
 
Prayer: O Lord, I repent of all my known and unknown sins today. Let all my covered sins uncover themselves now, in order for the blood of Jesus Christ to purge me and strengthen my faith in Him, so that I can walk in perfection with the Holy Spirit in me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
