Topic: Preserve Your Soul In Holiness
Key Text: Luke 1:75 KJV - In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Most people, believers inclusive, don't really understand what a soul is and how important their souls are. Because of this, it’s one of the reasons you’d hear some people say that they sold their souls to the devil. Is it not the same soul our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ spoke about that certain people are talking about? The question is, how much would anyone sell his or her own soul? The soul of a day-old child is worth more than the whole world put together. One must do everything possible to preserve his or her soul from eternal damnation. Mark 8:37 KJV

Sin Is An Enemy To The Human Soul: A soul is a hidden man who never dies and lives inside a person. It’s also the part of a person that's visible after death, just as the body is visible while alive on earth. The only thing that has the power to kill a soul, yet alive in hellfire, is sin. Most believers underestimate what sin can do. It’s suicidal for a child of God to underrate sin, as it is dangerous and deadly! One cannot comprehend what a little sin can do. Sinners have no other destination than where they would be eternally separated from God and subjected to eternal torment in hellfire. Romans 6:23 KJV  

Why Should You Perish When You Have A Chance To Live? In the past, I used to live the worldly life, but now, I am living a godly life by the grace of God. I concluded that it's easier to live godly than worldly. Worldliness is full of unnecessary stress and anxiety, while holiness takes away death, destructive struggles, and self afflictions from a man. Choose to be holy and preserve your priceless soul. Nothing on earth is worth losing your soul. Jesus Christ suffered to redeem your soul, so why should you be condemned again? Ephesians 4:24 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, I am sorry for not taking my soul as you did before now. Have mercy on me and restore my soul from wherever I have sold it unknowingly. Give me the grace to live holy for the preservation of my soul, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36 KJV
