Topic: Stop Living In The Fear Of Man
Key Text: Psalms 27:1 KJV - THE LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
 
The hardest and most horrible life anyone can live is the life of fear and torment. In fact, the origin of torment is fear. Many sins originated from fear; for instance, lying, deception, hypocrisy, forgery, and so on. Most of the time, people lie out of fear to cover-up their wrongdoings in order to avert punishment. The fear of man always makes people to work against God, and it becomes sinful to fear God and man at the same time. Acts 4:19 KJV
 
The Destructive Power Of The Fear Of Man To The Body Of Christ: Most believers today have totally wiped out the fear of God from their minds and replaced it with the fear of man. Those who are supposed to teach the congregations under their watch in the fear of God have removed the fear of God from their hearts and planted their fear. Most of the so-called believers don't care about what the Word of God says anymore. ''My G.O says" (General Overseer) has replaced ''The Word of God says" in most congregations. Romans 8:15 KJV 
 
The Power Of Genuine Repentance: The lack of genuine repentance and true conversion of today's believers have subjected most of them to the torment of fear and intimidation. Most believers don't even know the reason they are in the church. Some are just there to shout "ride on" to the noise that so-called pastors are making. A true born again believer has no reason to fear any man on earth. Jesus Christ already told us that we would be hated by ALL men. He even told us we would be killed. So, why are you afraid of what you already know? Pull yourself out of the bondage of the fear of man and submit yourself to the fear of God. Romans 8:1-2 KJV
 
Prayer: O Lord my Father, I repent of the sin of living in the fear of man. Please, have mercy and forgive me as I have decided not to fear man anymore, but to fear you alone and live in obedience to your Word, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
