Topic: He Died To Bring Salvation To Mankind
Key Text: John 3:17 KJV - For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

After the fall of man in the garden of Eden and with the coming of sin into the world, man has lost his original place that was in God. The bond and commitment that existed between God and man was broken, and man lost his place in eternity with God. The world needed a Saviour to bring redemption to the perishing souls and to destroy the wall of partition that existed between God and man, as well as to restore man to his original place in God. And because the blood of goats and rams were not enough for total purification of sins, Jesus Christ gave up Himself to be slain, so that through His blood, humanity can find redemption and be free from sin and everlasting damnation in hellfire. Colossians 1:20-22 KJV

Isaiah 5:14 gives us a clear picture of how humans were falling into hell in their numbers. "Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it." A loving and merciful God saw how His beloved creation He created out of His own image and likeness descending into the lower parts of hell, a place for the devil and his demons, and being tormented in anguish of everlasting pain, sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die a shameful death, so that through Him the world would receive salvation. John 3:16 KJV

He Died That You Should Not Go To Hell: Beloved in Christ, the main reason Jesus Christ left His exalted throne and humbled Himself like a slave to the cross was for you and I not to end up in that place called hell. It is not a place for merry-making and enjoyment, but agonizing pain and everlasting torment. It's a place of everlasting detention in fire; in fact, a place of indescribable torture. Please, don't go there. All Jesus wants is for you to forsake your sinful lifestyle, invite Him into your life and surrender all to Him, so that He may guide you into a new life that will guarantee eternity with Him in His Kingdom. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 KJV

Prayer: O Lord Jesus, I know you died that I might be free from eternal damnation in hell. Please, wash my sins with your blood as I completely surrender to you. Help me to live for you all the days of my life until you come to take me home, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
