Topic: Your Life Was Given To You
Key Text: Galatians 2:20 KJV - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

There is a great difference when using what one bought with his or her money and what is borrowed. Only a fool would borrow money from the bank and use it to organise a party and would see everyone eating, drinking, and making all kinds of merriment, knowing that he or she would have to pay back the money with interest. Well, many have actually done so by borrowing money to organise a birthday party and other irrelevant and ungodly parties, only to draw attention to themselves and make themselves important before the eyes of people, but dying silently in pain, awaiting to pay off debts. Psalm 37:21 KJV 

Have You Considered The Life You Are Living? How are you living the life given to you by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Are you burning it as a candlelight in the wind? Or are you living the life given to you recklessly, thinking you have power over it? Have you forgotten it is a borrowed life that the Owner would certainly demand for someday? You are certainly aware that no car rental company would give out a car for rent and expect the customer to come back with a damaged car. No bank manager would smile with a customer who borrowed money and refused to pay it back without the agreed interest. Galatians 5:24 KJV 

Apostle Paul knew the consequences of living his life opposite to the Giver, hence, he said, “The life I now live, I live to the glory of Him that gave Himself for me.” Are you able to face Jesus Christ at the end of your short time of living on earth? God gave you a perfect body, soul and spirit to trade with and to bring back the profit to Him. God will not accept anyone with an imperfect body, soul or spirit into His Kingdom. Don't be fooled by the devil; you have no power over any part of your body. Live a life worthy of eternity in heaven and save your soul from the impending wrath of God. God's anger awaits anyone who misuses his or her borrowed life. Repent of all your sins now before it's everlasting too late. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy and forgive me in any way I have been living the life you gave to me opposite of your plan for me. I repent and ask that every damaged part of me be recreated to the original image and likeness of Christ, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. Romans 12:1 KJV
