Most believers have succeeded in turning themselves into the enemies of their own selves by thinking they were actually helping God in whatever they were doing for God in his vineyard. Some of the people God brought out of darkness, shame, sorrow, distress and frustrating situations into his glorious light have suddenly turned themselves into mini gods in the eyes of other believers; so, have totally turned their back on God. Job 22:23 KJV

You Don't Add To God's Glory: Many believers actually think their preaching, singing, praying or whatever they do in the house of God add to God or make God to be more powerful. What a foolish and damnable imagination from a wicked heart! It's a privilege for anyone to be allowed to praise, pray, and work for such an Holy and Mighty God. He is a self existing God; he needs no one's glory to increase his glory; for He is glory himself. Revelation 21:23 KJV

Humble Yourself Before His Mighty Power: Have you been feeling so proud because you are doing something for God? Is there anything you are doing and you are thinking it cannot be done without you? My beloved in Christ, it can be done without one billion of you put together. You should be joyful God chose you out of billions of people in the world; and mind you, the work would either find you a place in heaven or in hell fire. In hell fire when you are proud of yourself and in heaven when you humble yourself before God in total obedience to his Word and directions. 1 Peter 5:6 KJV

Prayer: I receive the spirit of humility to walk with God in total obedience to his Will in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen.

Reflection: Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Mathew 18:4 KJV
