Topic: Don't Succumb To The Power Of Sin 
Key Text: 1 John 3:8-KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

I wonder if some believers actually know what they are saying when they say, "No one can live without sinning". Obviously, such people are indirectly saying they are of the devil; and, are proud to be associated with him and his they want to be. They are telling Jesus Christ that there was no need of him coming to die for them; knowing that Jesus Christ came to die in other to free man from sin and to win humanity back to God who is ever holy, pure, true, and just; hence, Jesus Christ told his followers while he was physically on earth that, "they must be perfect and sinless as our heavenly Father is perfect". Matthew 5:48 KJV 

The Genuinely  Born Again Must Not Sin Again: When one is truly and genuinely born again, the power of the flesh and blood become none effective on him or her. The will of the flesh is what makes people fall into sin; and such will die when one is born of the spirit. Jesus Christ never sinned because He was not subject to the will of flesh; but, as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God; even, to them that believe on his name, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 KJV
 
You Can Live Without Sin: The only way you can be joined to the league of those who have decided not to leave sin is when you have also decided to end up the way they have chosen to end up in hell fire; knowing that no sin is small enough to enter the kingdom of God. You and I would not be the first to enter into heaven with sin; so, take your ears from the lies of Satan saying one cannot live without sinning and make up your mind to be holy as your heavenly Father is holy and you would be amazed how the Holy Spirit would give you power to live without sinning. One must be genuinely born again to access the  grace for holy living. Hebrews 12:14 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, please purge my sins away; even as I have decided to close my ears to the damnable lies of the devil; believing I can live without sinning from henceforth; grant me access to the grace for holy living in Jesus Christ name, amen. 

Reflection: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.1 John 3:9 KJV
