Topic: The Prisoners Of Pride 
Key Text: Proverbs 11:2 KJV-When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

This message is speaking more directly to the believers. The unbelievers and the haters of Jesus Christ are already in the cage of the devil no matter what good they might have done. Anyone living outside of Jesus Christ coverage, is doomed already; pride or no pride. Am concerned about the believers who are not aware of their sentence and imprisonment; but, are rejoicing in their downfall thinking they know who they are because they are under the praise of man. John 3:18 KJV 

The Danger Of Pride: I have come to understand that pride is as dangerous as Satan himself. It's just as Satan is subtle so also is pride. Pride would never show itself as an enemy to the victim; but, would come as a destiny  helper. It would pretend as an elevator; it would make the heart of the victim feel so honoured; until, it finishes the work of bringing him or her down before those he or she was held in high esteem. Proverbs 13:10 KJV 

Free Yourself From The Prison Of Pride Before It's Too Late: Many believers are in the prison unknowingly. Most preachers of the gospel as they call themselves are enjoying what they are doing. Some have turned themselves into a "mini god" to their members. They do or say what they feel like. Some want other human being like them to see them and fear them. Some have totally forgotten God and depend on what they feel their hands have provided for them. These are all prisoners of pride; waiting to be executed. Repent now and learn to humble yourself no matter the level you have attained in life. Proverbs 16:18 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, please set me free from any prison of pride that am caged in. I repent of my way of life that has led to my imprisonment in the hand of Satan; and grant me the spirit of humility; in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. 

Reflection: A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. Proverbs 29:23 KJV
