Topic: When One's Yes Becomes No
Key Text: Matthew 5:37 KJV - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

This is one major weakness of the believers; and Satan is capitalising on it to accuse the children of God before Him. Many believers don't know how to say "No" to people's request. They would  rather say "Yes" with their mouth; even, when their heart is saying "No" in other not to offend the one requesting for help; by so doing, endangering his or her own soul. May God have mercy on our souls in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen. Ecclesiastes 5:5 KJV 

Number Your Words: We have a lot of Sadducees and Pharisees in this our generation; just as in the days of Jesus Christ's physical life on earth; when the Pharisees and Sadducees always try to put words in His mouth in other to nail him by his words. The same is happening today when people would come to you pretending to be seeking "Counsel" from you; but, all they are looking for is your word that they would use against you. Some  people may not necessarily need your help; but, they would ask help of you just for you to promise and fail and that would send you to hell fire if you die with such sin unconfessed. Luke 20:20 KJV 

Work On Your Mind To Please God Alone: I have come to understand that anyone who always want to please people would always swim in an Ocean of sin. It's very difficult to please people and God at the same time. People would sing your praise to perish you. Learn to seek God's approval in all that you do regardless of what people would say. King Saul tried to please the people at his own expense; and, he paid dearly with his kingship and his soul. Say "Yes" to only what you can afford and "No" or "Silence" to what you cannot do. May God Almighty have mercy on us all in Jesus Christ mighty name. 1 Samuel 15:30 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy on in anyway I have been living my life to please people at the expense of my relationship with the Holy Spirit; and endangering my Salvation and sending my precious soul to hell fire unknowingly; I repent and have decided to live my life to the glory of God alone in Jesus Christ mighty name; amen.

Reflection: How can you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from the God only? John 5:44 KJV
