TITLE: THE REBELLIOUS GENERATION

KEY TEXT: "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14 KJV).

God created man in His image and likeness so that He could have an intimate relationship with him, which He could not have with the angels and living creatures in Heaven. Man was formed as a free moral agent, so that he could have the ability to freely live his lifestyle of choice. It is unfortunate that such unmerited power of choice was abused by rebelling against the Creator. Man has, since his fall, been on a rebellion mission against God. History and the Word of God revealed that humans are rebellious in nature and are always doing things that contradicts the plans and will of God. It gives man joy to see God provoked to anger. Humanity has been rebellious to God right from the beginning, and every new generation does worse than the previous generation. It is painful to see man purposely embarking on a search to invent things that undermine the supremacy of God over man. Proverbs 17:11 KJV

TITLE: BLINDED BY BLIND SHEPHERDS

Key Text: “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him” (Hebrews 12:5 KJV).

Would one blame the sheep that is going astray when the shepherd of the sheep has gone astray himself? How could one give counsel when he himself has no counsellor? A majority of believers have become wayward because of the lack of the genuine Word of God. Most believers do not want to hear the message of chastisement because chastisement is never a part of them. Their pastors always pet them for their sins to make sure they do not get offended and leave the clubhouse they call a church. Many Christians have become like children without parental care. It is now very difficult to differentiate between a prostitute from a chorister. What a shame! Matthew 15:14 KJV

Many believers who have decided to follow Jesus Christ without compromise in this wicked generation, are in no doubt going through tough times in different ways. We are in a time where serving God can only be enjoyed if one decides to follow the mixed multitude. A time that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, told us that the world will laugh and rejoice, but His true followers will mourn for the kind of hardship, persecution and other untold things that will be happening to them. This is the hour of temptation to all those who truly believe in Christ Jesus. Satan is doing everything within his power to push the true followers of Christ out of faith. Hebrews 13:6 KJV

TITLE: THE ONLY WAY OUT OF ETERNAL DAMNATION

KEY TEXT: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13 KJV).

It is only in this generation you see members looking at their General Overseers (GOs) as if they are not human beings. Some people prefer to believe their pastors more than the Holy Spirit. They see their “fathers” or “papas” in the Lord as infallible rocks, and feel their GOs are in the right way, even if the smoke of hellfire is coming out from their direction. Can someone teach me a better way to explain the truth that can take one out of the street of iniquity and doom more than the Holy Spirit, the greatest teacher? Is there any teacher, papa in the lord or theologian as they are called, that can teach the Bible more than the Creator, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ Himself? He has explained all we need to know in order for us to come to Him and live where He lives. Unfortunately, humanity is as stubborn as dogs that enjoy the chains placed on their necks by their owners, hence, they rather get lost than to obey the truth. Matthew 5:48 KJV

TITLE: THE END RESULT OF THE PLEASURE OF SIN

Key Text: “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season” (Hebrews 11:25 KJV).

Billions of souls have gone. Understand that the majority of them are in the lowest part of the ground called hellfire. Anyone who has visited or passed by the cemetery and saw the multitude of lifeless souls in the graves will have a rethink of the kind of life he or she ought to live. Most of those dead souls were living in the pleasure of sin, forgetting they would close their eyes someday and open it in eternity. It is so painful that human beings will not learn from experience, even when they see what others are going through because of sin, and considering the scary, scriptural, horrible description of the pain the damned souls are going through in hellfire. Humanity is still much more concerned about the earthly pleasures of iniquity. Government officials are still looting government treasuries to enrich themselves at the expense of the poor citizens, armed robbers are robbing innocent people, and the ritualists are killing for money-making without thinking of their horrible end. TITLE: SERVING GOD WITHOUT HYPOCRISY

Key Text: “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren” (1 John 3:16 KJV).

God prefers a little service done with a sincere heart to a rigorous service done in hypocrisy. That is the major challenge the believers of today are facing (a lot of work with no work done at the end, because the works are done in hypocrisy). Jesus Christ did all He did for us sincerely and expects a sincere reciprocation from us. Unlike the brethren of old, it would be very difficult for anyone in this generation to be saved from the wrath of God if our Lord, Jesus Christ, would judge the church and the believers of today according to the Word of God. The believers of today enjoy living their lives totally opposite of what the Word of God is saying. Many profess to love one another, but all this is done in hypocrisy and lies. They love with their lips while chronic hatred is in their hearts towards one another. Matthew 15:8 KJV

KEY TEXT: “And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire” (Mark 9:47 KJV).

Heaven is the utmost desire of every soul on earth. The Muslim terrorists in Nigeria and other parts of the world are working hard to kill more people in order to have a place in Heaven with seventy virgins waiting for them, according to their leader who is now in the kingdom of the devil (hellfire), reaping what he sowed while on earth. The ritualist, fraudsters, and other dubious sinners expect to be welcomed in Heaven with their wickedness. This could only happen if God is no more God. God was not enthroned by man and cannot be dethroned by man. Virtually, all believers want to make it into Heaven by professing it. Heaven is not a place where one can just walk into without meeting the prerequisites. The standards of God are very high, and they cannot be lowered for any reason. Only the holy believers will enter the Kingdom of God. One must be extremely ready, in all holy ramifications, to make it into Heaven. No wonder it is written: "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" 1 Peter 4:18 KJV

There is no human being on earth that God cannot humble. It is surprising to see people with flesh and blood, having the breath of God in their nostrils, living as if they own their lives. Some people are enjoying their lifestyle of wickedness, thinking they are too strong for God to break. Some are joyfully destroying other people's homes with witchcraft, thinking no one is seeing them or has the power to stop them, but they shall be stopped in a very hard, mysterious way. Some people are causing pain to others, hiding under the cover of holiness. Some are using the seductive spirit of witchcraft to brainwash husbands from their wives and wives from their husbands, subjecting the other spouse to unbearable pain. God is giving them time to repent; He will visit them in a hard way soon. Psalm 141:10 KJV

We are in a period of time when salvation should be taken very seriously by those who have the privilege of having the free gift of salvation. This is not the time to assume being saved, but a time to know if one is saved or not by evaluating one's lifestyle. We need to make sure that our old nature is totally dead and buried, and take up a completely new life in Christ, because the system of this age is rapidly passing away. Beloved brethren, we are living in a time where everything outlined in the Bible is gradually unfolding right before our very eyes. So many things are happening all over the world, making us understand that we are on the verge of the world coming to an end. With all these end-time events taking place all over, it is imperative for one to have a firm and genuine relationship with God in order to survive the times. Mark 13:4-14 KJV

Not all believers are actually aware of the reason they were given the free gift of salvation. Some take it as a privilege given by God to enrich themselves materially, forgetting their spiritual well-being. Believers who are not serious with the free gift of salvation (which they received from the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ) will have themselves to blame when they are left behind after the rapture or when they die and miss Heaven. Jesus Christ has given us the gift of salvation through the shedding of His precious blood for humanity. The Spirit of God, which is the Holy Spirit, was made available to man through the power of Christ’s resurrection. This power is available to help the believers get closer to God Almighty, stand against the forces of darkness, and live the desired life of God (which is to see His children living in holiness and becoming like Him).
