TITLE: THE ONLY WAY OUT OF ETERNAL DAMNATION

KEY TEXT: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13 KJV).

It is only in this generation you see members looking at their General Overseers (GOs) as if they are not human beings. Some people prefer to believe their pastors more than the Holy Spirit. They see their “fathers” or “papas” in the Lord as infallible rocks, and feel their GOs are in the right way, even if the smoke of hellfire is coming out from their direction. Can someone teach me a better way to explain the truth that can take one out of the street of iniquity and doom more than the Holy Spirit, the greatest teacher? Is there any teacher, papa in the lord or theologian as they are called, that can teach the Bible more than the Creator, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ Himself? He has explained all we need to know in order for us to come to Him and live where He lives. Unfortunately, humanity is as stubborn as dogs that enjoy the chains placed on their necks by their owners, hence, they rather get lost than to obey the truth. Matthew 5:48 KJV 

THE WIDE, HIGHLY POPULATED AND JOYFUL ROAD TO ETERNAL DAMNATION: Jesus Christ has told His followers to beware of the wide road that leads to eternal destruction, but they will not listen. The world and its fantasies have captured the minds of most believers that they no longer reason with the spirit of holiness anymore. They have decided to join the children of perdition who say: “You can gain the world and Heaven at the same time.” The message of “Come out from amongst them” is now becoming an outdated passage in the Bible, and many churches that once talked about being separated from the world have gone for updating and it is now, “Come all ye people of the world and let us share ideas together”. 2 Thessalonians 1:9

THE OLD WAY, THE ONLY WAY TO THE HOLY CITY: It is so sad to know that believers are aware of the pureness of Heaven, but still believe they could enter with their waywardness and worldliness. It is written: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Do you now understand that only a few are found on the way to the holy city of God? Repent of your sins and come out of that open marketplace of iniquity you call a church before it is too late for you. Do not let the spirit of the mixed multitude get hold of you before you run from the wide way. Look for the old way that our forefathers who are in Heaven went through called the way of holiness. Matthew 7:14 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord God, I am no longer ignorant of the truth. Have mercy on me and forgive me for ever walking on the joyful and busy road to destruction. Grant me the grace to bear the painful but gainful truth on the high and holy way to Heaven, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV).
