TITLE: COME OUT OF PRETENSE AND HYPOCRISY (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Proverbs 29:25 KJV: “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”

Many of us fear men more than God. What the Word of God says is not their business; they only care about what men say. Many fear apostles, pastors, prophets, or their spouses more than God. Are you one of them? You are just a hypocrite. You are doing one thing just for a man to say that you are really trying, not for the God who sees in secret and rewards openly. That is hypocrisy. The Lord is saying that as long as you are not real, people should beware of you. Matthew 7:15

There are many false believers today. False believers still live their old lifestyles. They only succeeded in covering up their real identity that they are not ready to deal with. The Lord is saying that if I am the wolf in sheep's clothing, I must repent, because death can happen at any time. It is time wasted if we fail to be real to ourselves. Defiled believers profess to know God, but in works, they deny Him. They give the devil occasion to mock God. They are neither here nor there. Matthew 23:13

They will not do what is right, nor will they allow those who want to do what is right to do so. They gossip and lie but pretend as if they are holy. They pray long prayers, shouting to make you believe that they are there, but they are not. They will say they love but calculate where you are weak in order to knock you down. They are rat-like and serpentine in nature. If you are such a person, repent before it is too late. The devil who is using you is waiting to destroy you. Titus 1:16

PRAYER: Almighty Father, please help me to make right decisions and stick to them, and deliver me from every pretentious lifestyle of doom, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Matthew 23:27 KJV: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.”
