TITLE: WHY GO TO HELL?

KEY TEXT: “Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel” (Ezekiel 18:31 KJV).

It is a shame that the same place that was prepared for the devil and his demons is where many people want to go to. Anyone who lives in sin is indirectly saying that he or she wants to go there. Why? Because the lusts and the pleasures of this world have taken over their hearts and minds. Matthew 25:41 KJV

You have a precious soul from a precious Father in Heaven. There is no use holding on to the things of this world, because after your death, others will take everything that you have worked for. The things that people are dying for will not follow them to the grave. Ecclesiastes 5:16 KJV

Jesus is telling you to come to Him, as He is the way, the truth, and the life; no one can come to the Father except through Him. The things of this world cannot help you enter Heaven. And in order to follow Christ, you must be Christ-like and live the way He lived when He was on earth. 1 Peter 1:16 KJV
 
PRAYER: O Lord, help me value my soul more than the things of the earth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?“ (Ezekiel 33:11 KJV).
