TITLE: YOUR PURENESS IS DEMANDED (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God“ (Hebrews 12:2 KJV).

Many Christians, who used to look unto Jesus, are now using other Christians to compare their levels of holiness. They think they are better than others. It is written that it is not wise to compare ourselves to others. There is so much iniquity found in many believers, but they do not know. God wants those who have iniquity to come to Him for cleansing. 2 Corinthians 10:12 KJV          

A lot of Christians are now running towards iniquity and not from it. They used to be honored by Heaven and dreaded by the devil, but not anymore. Beloved, you are the one to put yourself in honor or dishonor, and you are also the one to present yourself to God for cleansing. You must be perfect and prepared for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 KJV

The foundation that took Apostle Paul to Heaven is still standing. The Lord used to know believers who were His until iniquity was found in them, and they have refused to let God purge them. Satan is mocking Jesus’ suffering for mankind everyday, yet many believers think they are still standing sure in the faith, even when things are no longer right with them. Ask God to reveal your state of purity. 2 Timothy 2:19 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please make everything about me right with you again, as you cleanse me with your blood, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart“ (2 Timothy 2:22 KJV).
