 TITLE: YOUR PURENESS IS DEMANDED

 KEY TEXT: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect“ (Matthew 5:48 KJV).

 It is appalling that God is saying that He demands pureness from believers who think they are already pure and have stopped striving. In 1 Corinthians 5:6-8, it tells us that our glorying is not good. Instead of believers to ask God where they are failing in their walk with Him, they are saying that they have done a lot. Ezekiel 28:15 KJV

 Satan has deceived many believers and has targeted them for destruction. They are now compromising by loving what they used to hate and looking for ways to diminish their holiness. They are regretting that they have gone beyond Heaven’s qualifications when God wants us to be honorable vessels and exactly like Him. 1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV

 Can you remember those days when you used to cry to God about sin? Will your pride allow God to purge you? Have you ever asked the people of old how they served God in their time? Did you ask God to open your eyes to see the cloud of witnesses and what they have gone through? Return to the Lord before it is too late. Matthew 5:8 KJV

 PRAYER: O Lord, please forgive me, in any way I thought I was perfect. Please create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

 REFLECTION: “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof“ (Romans 13:14 KJV).
