TITLE: IS YOUR LIFE IN ORDER WITH GOD?

KEY TEXT: “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live“ (Isaiah 38:1 KJV).

The title of today’s divine inspiration is a question that all believers should ask themselves. Can God say that you are ready to come to Heaven and take you whenever He wants? In 2 Kings 20:1, Hezekiah was told to set his house (life) in order. Today, the Holy Spirit is telling every child of God the same thing. Every true believer is a pilgrim on earth. 1 Peter 2:11 KJV

The earth is sick and will die soon, and it has already been judged. If you look at non-believers, they are teaching abominable things to children in school, yet the people of God are not putting their lives in order. The Bible says that because of the saints, the time on earth will be shortened, but people do not have a sense of urgency to get themselves right with God. Matthew 24:22 KJV

Haggai 1:5-8 says to consider your ways in everything you do. If God examines you, what will He see? If we want to escape the chaos that is about to happen, our ways must be right with God and people. Bad things like natural disasters, wars, etc., could happen to anyone at any time, even the righteous. Haggai 1:7 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I understand that the world is set for destruction. Please do not let me and my family be destroyed with it, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord“ (Hebrews 12:14 KJV).
