* TITLE: MERCY IS NOT A TICKET TO SIN*
 
* KEY TEXT: “How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses” (Jeremiah 5:7 KJV).*
 
* Many are in hellfire today because they thought mercy was a free ticket to commit sin. They had pastors who told them that mercy did not count sin, and that mercy would not care what one did or how one lived his or her life. They told their victims that mercy would go ahead of them to stand for them after death, hence, confession of sin and running away from evil was not necessary until they died and saw that “the once upon a time mercy” has become judgment to them . It is true that God is a very merciful, kind, and generous God, who wants all His creation to be with Him in Heaven. He forgives all manner of sins, and is doing everything to pull man to Himself. He can go to any extent to deliver His children out of the danger of hell. However, no one should think that he or she is so important to God to be left to end up in hellfire. No one is too important to God. His mercy is available as long as one is alive. LUKE 23:43 KJV*
 
* TREMBLE BEFORE GOD: The problem the church of today has is that they only know the God of mercy. They still look at Him as the one who died on the cross at the age of thirty-two years old. They forgot He is now a spirit God, who is back to Himself as the Ancient of Days, the Consuming Fire, and the Judge of all. Anyone who knows who God actually is would be careful not to fall into His anger or die and meet Him in sin. The children of God must be wise not to play games with the kindness and mercy of God. Mercy, grace, kindness, and forgiveness only exist while one is alive, and righteous judgement comes after death. Human beings are given the opportunity to enjoy the mercies, grace, and kindness of God while alive in the body, and it is taken away for one to face reality after death. HEBREWS 9:27 KJV*
 
* NO POSSIBLE THIRD ETERNAL DESTINATION: It is often said by those who do not value the gift of the undiluted truth of God’s Word that Apostle Emmanuel Osezele and his pastors never stop talking or preaching about hellfire. It is a pity most people or believers do not understand that there are only two eternal destinations to end in one, either in hellfire or Heaven. Anyone who misses Heaven is straight to hellfire. No one will enter Heaven with sin, and there is no alternative to hellfire if one misses Heaven. You, who is saying I am too strict with my messages of holiness, God will not spare you but send you to hellfire if your soul goes to Him with sin when you die. I counsel you to do all you can to avoid sinning, confess all your sins, and do your restitution, or harden your heart and be ready to end up where sinners end which is hellfire (the place you do not want to hear about now) . ROMANS 6:23 KJV*
 
* PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me, in any way I have been taking your mercies upon my life for granted. Forgive me and plant the seed of the fear of God in my heart. Give me the grace to avoid all forms of sins and make me holy and prepare me for your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*
