TITLE: WE ARE ALL IN A MARKETPLACE

KEY TEXT: "This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead" (Ecclesiastes 9:3 KJV).

Many are careless about how they are living their lives. They allow their hearts to be full of evil and madness according to the key text because they fail to realise that the world they are in is a marketplace. No one stays in the market indefinitely; everyone goes back home after trading, hence, we all will definitely leave this marketplace called the world someday. Beloved, how is your trading going? I hope you are keeping a good account that will be presentable before your God, your Maker. Do not forget that you must give an account of all you traded because there is no escape route for anyone. It is written, "For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey." Matthew 25:14-15 KJV

DATE OF BIRTH AND DATE OF DEATH UNAVOIDABLE: It is written: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted”(Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 KJV). Many are trading in this marketplace without caution, because they only have their date of birth in their heads, forgetting they have a date of death as well. That is why the majority of people in power do not care if others die. They are fine seeing people suffering, as long as their bank accounts are loaded. The devil is happily telling them to continue since those who elected them cannot do anything. The devil makes them believe they are in power and are doing very well until they would breathe their last breath before realising what they have done to themselves. Those who are changing their gender are happily doing so, kidnappers and ritualist are also doing their own, not knowing what is ahead of them. Until they breathe their last breath to realise they had lived a wasted life. It is written, "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." Beloved in Christ, remember you will surely reap what you are sowing right now in eternity. 2 Corinthians 9:6 KJV

YOU ARE DELIBERATELY IGNORANT: It is written in the Word of God: “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” But humanity has chosen to be ignorant or have allowed the devil to make them never to be aware that they shall surely give an account of all they traded in this marketplace called the world. The devil is making many feel they are the masters of themselves. Most pastors have turned themselves into gods before their members. All they are thinking about is how to live a luxurious life, buy more cars, jets and how to build more houses. The message of holiness is far from them. They allow the people Jesus Christ died for to be coming to church as they like without rebuke, chastening, and no correction. All they do is prophesy and perform baseless miracles that can never take souls to Heaven. The pastors are fine, as long as the people give their offerings, pay their tithes, buy them gifts and make sure their birthday is well celebrated. What a pity! It is written, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Repent today and be saved, else eternity in torment awaits you. Galatians 6:7 KJV

PRAYER: My Father and my God, have mercy on me for ever trading as a child who has no master to account to at the end. Please give me the grace to trade in this marketplace with carefulness from now on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name Amen.

REFLECTION: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27 KJV).
