TITLE: TURNING BACK ON SALVATION (PART 2) 

KEY TEXT: "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth" (1 John 1:6 KJV).

WILL YOU ALSO WALK AWAY?: This is the question the Holy Spirit is silently asking every believer who is still standing and doing the work of God, as many have walked away from the Lord. It is amazing to see people that one would think could stand with Christ, no matter the condition, walking out of salvation with little or no persecution or trials, while those who one thought would not go far, keep pushing with great zeal of God and with all they are going through for the sake of their love for Christ. The Holy Spirit is watching many believers who are not interested in knowing the truth go, just as Jesus Christ watched many of His disciples walk away from Him without anyone pursuing them. John 6:66 KJV

DO NOT EXPOSE YOURSELF TO SATAN: Getting offended unnecessarily has made many believers exposed to Satan and are unknowingly walking out of salvation through their actions of getting offended without any provocation. No one gets offended in Christ and still claims to be safe for Heaven or the rapture. The only safe zone for any Christian is the place of holiness and righteousness. All other zones are dangerous zones for any child of God to tread on. Are you living in secret sin? No matter how small the sin maybe, you are out of the safety zone. Satan is targeting your soul to snuff you out. Repent and return to the Master now before it is too late. Galatians 5:1 KJV

DO NOT JOKE WITH YOUR SALVATION: Not every believer actually knows the importance of the gift of salvation. It is scary to see people deliberately walking in and out of salvation. It is a costly game for anyone to play with his or her salvation. Many who played such games are no longer alive to tell the story. People like Demas would wish they had never stepped out of the lane, but it is everlasting too late for them. There is no forgiveness for anyone who died as a backslider. Do not let offence or what someone who did not die for you take you away from the narrow way to Heaven. It is written: “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:21 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me, in any way I have allowed offence to take me away from you. Please forgive me, as I repent of my backsliding, and deliver me from the power making people walk away from salvation into damnation, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent” (Revelation 2:5 KJV).
